A Pakistani court has sentenced a 22-year-old student to death and a 17-year-old to life imprisonment for sharing derogatory content about Prophet Muhammad on WhatsApp. The defence lawyers argue that the students were trapped in a false case and plan to file an appeal. In August last year, several churches and homes were burnt in Jaranwala city after two Christian men were accused of damaging the Holy Quran.
