'Shot twice, targeted attack': What police said on killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson

UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, 50, was fatally shot outside the New York Hilton Midtown Wednesday morning in what police describe as a targeted attack. The masked gunman, who appeared to be lying in wait, shot Thompson twice before fleeing on an e-bike. Thompson later died at a nearby hospital.
